Pamala "Pam" S. (Oxley) Smith

Pamala “Pam” S. Smith, 76, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Norton and a graduate of Norton High School, Class of 1966. Pam retired from ISOLAB after many years of service.  As a retiree she volunteered at Wadsworth Hospital in the surgical unit. Pam was a member of the Barberton Moose, American Legion, Barberton Civitan Club and Cobra Car Club. She truly loved playing her monthly Yahtzee games for nearly 40 years with her longtime friends. Pam enjoyed cooking, caring for and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gail and Delores Oxley and her beloved brother, Jeff Oxley. Pam is survived by her husband of 26 years, Ronald; children, Tonya (Robert) Specht, Monique (Ronald) Smith, Robert Smith and Brenda Ferguson; grandchildren, Nicholas (Kelly) Paulus, Demi (Josh) Bengston, Hunter Farley, Tyler Smith, Samantha Smith, Samantha (Isaiah) Britton and Staci Kirby; great-grandchildren, Murphy and Maxwell Bengston, Mikey Paulus, Hailielynn Smith, Ciara Kirby and Violet Smith; lifelong best friend, Karen Westfall Cerne; along with  many other relatives and friends.The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. Pam’s funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Michael Cope officiating. Family and friends are invited for food and fellowship immediately following the funeral service at the Barberton Moose, 250 31st St., N.W., Barberton 44203 for a Celebration of Pam’s Life. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of one’s choice.
