Patricia K. Caperones

Patricia K. Caperones, 80, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026. She was born in Barberton on April 27, 1945, and was a graduate of Barberton High School Class of 1963. She graduated from Kent State University and spent most of her career teaching in Barberton City Schools. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and KSKJ Lodge 110.

Patricia joyfully joined her parents, Peter and Mayme Caperones, and twin sister, Joanne.

Pat is survived by her devoted companion of 28 years, Alex Morton; brother, Peter (Susan) Caperones; cousin, Linda Garey; nieces, Katie Caperones and Krista Shaffer; nephew, Brian (Natalie) Caperones; great-nephew, Noah Schaffer, and great-niece, Lillianna Shaffer along with other cousins, relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Noon at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 1263 Shannon Ave., Barberton OH 44203 with Fr. Robert Jackson as celebrant. Burial to follow at Lakewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of her service.
