Patricia Helen (Beckett) Schleicher

Patricia Helen Schleicher (Beckett) – born June 13, 1944, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2018 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.Pat was a graduate of Buchtel High School and Malone College, and retired from First Merit Bank. She was a Phi Mu Sister and member of Johnson United Methodist Church, LEAPSS and Medina Swarm Agility Club. She enjoyed training and competing in dog sports, gardening, activities with her family and pursuing a greater understanding of God’s Divine Plan.Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Helen Beckett; siblings Bill Beckett and Carole Holstein, and beloved daughter, Teresa Chillik. She is survived by her sister, Barb DeCrane; daughters, Cindy Wilmoth (Greg) and Pam Roberts (Jerry); son-in-law Aaron Chillik; grandchildren, James, Jimmy, Chelsie and Jordan, great-grandchildren Hailie, Aiden and Leland; many nieces, nephews and friends.Pat’s funeral service will be held Friday, January 4th at 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Tal Lewis officiating.  Burial at East Akron Cemetery.  Pat’s family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service on Friday.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Ministry at Johnson United Methodist Church, 3409 Johnson Rd., Norton, Ohio 44203.
