Paul Pavkov

 Paul Pavkov, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2018.Paul was a resident of Wadsworth for 32 years.  He retired from Woodlawn Cemetery as the Cemetery Sexton in 1999.He was a long standing member of the Norton Apostolic Christian Church of Norton, Ohio.  He taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and helped in many other areas as well.     Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna of 62 years (10/22/17); his parents, Sandor and Kathryn (Boss) Pavkov; brothers, Jake, Lou, Sandor Jr., Noah and sisters, Martha and Esther.  He leaves behind his only daughter, Brenda (Ned) Burdick; grandpa to, Gary (Hope) Dudlets and Nicole Dudlets and great-grandpa to Piper Mae; three brothers, Bill (Gerrie) Pavkov, Ed (Dot) Pavkov and Walt (Janice) Pavkov; one sister, Dolly (Roy) Payne; along with many other family members and friends.The family would like to thank the caregivers at Doylestown Health Care Center for all the care and support that Paul and his family received.Paul’s family will receive friends at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 on Tuesday, March 27th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  A funeral service will begin at 12 Noon with Pastor David Kapusinski officiating.  Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, 70 West Streetsboro St., Suite 201, Hudson, Ohio 44236.
