Phyllis Ann (Trout) Brown

Phyllis Ann Brown, 87, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. She was born on September 13, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to the late Richard and Lucille Trout.    Phyllis lived most of her life in Barberton where she married her sweetheart, Donald Brown and began growing their family. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Barberton, where she served many years as a Deacon and sang beautifully in the choir. She will be remembered for her positive outlook on life, strong faith, and the laughter she brought anyone who crossed her path. Phyllis is survived by her son-in-law, Donald Kishton; granddaughters, Katherine (Brian) Goodnight and Hayley (Ian) Bilicic; brother, Richard Trout and dear friend, Terri Stevenson.She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brown; son, Douglas Brown; daughter, Susan Kishton and parents. Please join us in “Celebrating her Life”, on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Barberton, 636 W. Park Avenue, Barberton, 44203 with Rev. Dr. Mark Ruppert officiating.The family will receive friends and family from 10 a.m. until time of her service. Followed by a luncheon.
