Phyllis J. Walton

Phyllis J. Walton, 88, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024. She was born on August 5, 1936 in Oak Hill, West Virginia and was a resident of Norton for most of her life. Phyllis retired from Yoder Brothers with 25 years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Blanche Light; grandson, Chad Park; brothers, Nathan Light, Edgar Light, Virgil Light and Gary Light; sister, Nadene Settle and first husband, Marvin Adkins. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Clarence; daughter, Donna (Gary) Nagy; son, Marvin Adkins Jr.; grandsons, Jason and Rodney Park; great-grandson, Brandon Berlin (fiancée, Samantha); sisters, Donna Jones, Joyce Conner and Sandra Hatcher; stepsons, Carl (Bri) Walton and Donald Walton all from Longview, Texas; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Following Phyllis’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
