Rex Allen Frantz, 64, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024. He was born on April 19, 1960 in Akron, Ohio. Rex was a member of Laborer’s Union #894 for 30 years and worked for Jim Seabeck, Kenmore Construction and H.M. Miller Construction. Rex loved hunting, golf, traveling with his family and keeping busy with handy man projects. Preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Vera Frantz; brother, Bill Frantz; daughter, Heather Garrett and friend, George Funk. Rex is survived by his wife of 35 years, Teresa; daughter, Danelle (Phil) Dipierro; stepson, Steve Moore; stepdaughter, Vicki Holderbaum; father-in-law, Zeno (Joy) Watts; siblings, Jo Etta Hutton, Steve (Kathi) Frantz and Darla (Bret) Adams; sister-in-law, Karen Frantz; grandchildren, Kaeli, Austin, Cassie, Brady, Aiden, Caleb and Isabella; great-granddaughters, Callie and Dailyn; brothers in friendship, Mike Neely, Terry Molnar and Al Lengyel; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rex’s family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203.
