Richard Delaney

Our beloved Richard “Rick” Delaney, 59, of Barberton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 5, 2021 in the comfort of his home with loved ones. Rick drove Semi trucks for many years and his interests included fishing, bowling and cooking. He was preceded in death by his sons, Daniel and Nicholas.  Rick is survived by his spouse, Geneva; son, Joseph; daughters, Melissa and Rebecca (Claude) DeBord and grandson, Ryker DeBord.  He is also survived by his mother, Vivian and brothers, David and Paul (Leigha); along with other relatives and friends. Special thanks to his hospice team for their valued services.  Many thanks to extended family for their help during these times to include Aunt Jean Lute, Tom Cole Jr. and Anita (Robert) Wienke and all family members near and afar. Funeral service for Rick will be held Tuesday, November 9th at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until time of service.
