Richard C. Houston

Richard C. Houston, 66, of North Canton, Ohio, and formerly of Norton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, following complications from Parkinson's disease.

Rich was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Houston; and his grandparents, John and Fern Double, and Virginia and Clyde Houston.

He is survived by his father, Harry Houston; his children, Robert (Stephanie) Gilson, Richard (Jaime) Gilson, Luke Houston, and Josh Houston; his siblings, Debbie (Terry) Trubatch, Bob (Kelly) Houston, and Cindy (Mark) Banner; as well as his beloved grandchildren.

Rich was a graduate of Norton High School, Class of 1977, and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 10:45 a.m at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery - 10175 Rawiga Rd. Seville, OH 44273. If attending, please be at the cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
