Rodney "Buddy" N. Ferrebee

Rodney “Buddy” N. Ferrebee, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. He was born on October 10, 1957, in Oakland, California. A resident of the Akron area, for most of his life, Rodney was a graduate of Kenmore High School. “Buddy” was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Mary Ferrebee and sister, Mary Lee Gregory. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mima; sons, Andrew and Cody Ferrebee; daughter, Katie Ferrebee; grandchildren, Isabella, Mia and Cody Jr., brothers; Jay and Mark Ferrebee; very good friends, Ray Blake and Ronnie Dawson.     Rodney’s funeral service will be held Monday, March 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203, with Ronnie Dawson officiating.  “Buddy’s” family will receive friends on Monday from 4 p.m. until time of his service.
