Ross E. Deerman

Ross E. Deerman, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2024. He was born in Gadsden, Alabama on May 24, 1937. Ross was a resident of Doylestown and Akron for 67 years  He was employed by Lectromelt for 19 years and retired from Nabisco with 16 years of service. He was a member of Victory Chapel. Preceded in death by his son, Ross Edward Deerman Jr. and daughter, Debra Ann Steele. Ross is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia; daughter, Joanna (Dale) Halun; son-in-law, John Steele; grandchildren, Nicole, Joseph, Johnny, Matt, C.J., Kira and Elizabeth; along with many great-grandchildren. Ross’ funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton.  Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until time of his service.
