Ross Mollohan Obituary

Ross L. Mollohan, age 88, of Doylestown, died peacefully on Monday, November 29, 2021. Ross was born on April 4th, 1933, in Stinson, West Virginia to Russell and Bernice Mollohan. Ross grew up in Tuppers Plains, Ohio in Meigs County and later served proudly in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Lewis outside of Seattle, Washington. While serving in the military, Ross met and married the former Alice Westerlund in June of 1955. They were married for 64 years until her passing on April 5th, 2019. Ross spent his career as a professional truck driver, working for several companies during that time before retiring in 1998. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his four sons and attending their sporting events and activities. Later in life Ross and Alice enjoyed the company of their grandchildren, great-grandchildren and close friends. He is survived by his sons, Ross (Rebecca), Russell (Kimberly), Brian (Lynn) and Jeff (Kim); grandchildren, Erika Earnest (Mark), Sarah Voloschuk (Christopher), Elizabeth Dolence (Tony), Brian Mollohan (Selena) and Travis Mollohan. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Gavin, Kaleb, Lucy and Lyla as well as sisters, Glenna Sanders, Helen Milhone and Carol Anne Vance. Funeral services will be private and limited to family members only. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio with military honors. His sons and their spouses would like to thank the Palliative Care staff at Summa Health Hospital in Akron for the wonderful and compassionate care Ross received.
