Samuel "Sam" H. Holt Jr.

 Samuel “Sam” H. Holt Jr., 86, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026.  He was born on October 2, 1939 in Oakland, California and was a resident of Barberton for 70 years.  Sam was a retired plumber and an avid pool player. Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Carol and son, Mark. Sam is survived by his sons, Jeff and Gary; grandchildren, Brittany (Cody) Janis and Jeffrey Holt (Mariah); great-grandchildren, Veah, Scarlett and Sage; along with other relatives and many friends. Sam’s funeral service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Avenue, Barberton 44203 with Pastor Billy Kremer officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 1 to 3 p.m.
