Sandra J. Shockley

Sandra J. Shockley, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 2, 2023. She was a life resident of the Barberton/Norton area. Sandra was a graduate of Norton High School, Class of 1967. She and her husband owned E. T. Used Cars on Wooster Road in Barberton for 30 years. Sandra was a Charter Member of Mount Summit Church of the Nazarene and was currently attending the Woodsfield Church of the Nazarene. Survived by her husband of 54 years, Edward; daughter, Alisa (Phil) Bartschy; son, Eddie (Marci) Shockley; grandchildren, Autumn, Megan and Lily; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister; along with many other relatives and friends. Sandra’s funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church, 3819 Johnson Road, Norton, Ohio 44203 with Pastor Cecil Farmer and Pastor Joe Hise officiating. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Wadsworth. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
