Shirley A. Ward

Shirley A. Ward, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2025. She was born on May 20, 1936 in Tioga, West Virginia and was a resident of Barberton for most of her life. Shirley truly loved the Lord. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed going out for fast food with her son, Phil. Preceded in death by her husband, Ivan A. Ward; children, Daniel, Judith, Lawrence, Teresa, David (Debra) and Donald; granddaughters, Jennifer and Becky; siblings, Warren, Robert, Dennis, Lila, Lillian, Clara, Ina, Linda and Mary. Shirley is survived by her son, Phillip (Ruth); grandchildren, Andrea, Richard, Phillip, Jerrod, Lawrence Jr., Amanda, Misty, William, Daniel, Emily, Timothy, Samantha, Elizabeth, Bianca and Tara; siblings, Alice, Sue and Marvin; brother-in-law, Robert and sisters-in-law, Doris and Sue. Shirley’s funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Dan Cammarn officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of her service. Shirley will be laid to rest beside her husband, Ivan at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
