Steven "Steve" L. Bertschy

Steven “Steve” L. Bertschy, 63, passed away Saturday December 27, 2025. He was born in Meadville, PA on April 17, 1962. Steve was a resident of Barberton for most of his life. He was owner/operator of Magic Wrench Automotive and was also employed by the City of Akron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and John Bertschy and sister, Candace. Steve is survived by his wife of 44 years Barbara; children, Brianna (Chris) Chatterelli and Kyle (Jaclyn) Bertschy; grandchildren, Raymond, Beau, Kyer, Alivia, Eva, Skylee, Ayla, and Alden; sisters, Kimberly Bertschy and Kelly Springer; brother, Tommy (Estee) Springer; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to his niece, Callie Bertschy. Steve’s family will receive friends on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humane Society.
