Terry Lee Palmer, 71, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025 literally surrounded by family. Terry served at the Barberton Water Treatment plant for 47 years working his way up to Utilities Director while earning his Class 4 Water Treatment Operator License from the EPA. Above all, Terry loved spending time with his family. He and his wife, Tina, just celebrated 50 years of marriage in March. Terry loved showing up for his grandchildren! Terry never met a dad joke he couldn’t tell, could fix anything except broken glass, and would generously pass on his know-how. Preceded in death by his parents, Jack E. Palmer and Leea N. Palmer (DePoy). He is survived by his wife, Tina, his children, Carrie (John) Skarl and Brad (Samantha Hall), and his joy, his grandchildren: Wyatt (16) and Jonas (14) Skarl, and Abram (10) and Leah (6) Palmer. He is also survived by his sister, Brenda Richards of Virginia. Above all he loved being a husband, father, and grandfather, all of which constitute his enormous and beautiful life legacy.Terry’s “Celebration of Life” will held Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W.
