“Gone But Not Forgotten”

Theresa Lynn (Miller) Ellis, 59 of New Franklin, Ohio passed peacefully surrounded by Family on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Theresa succumbed to her injuries following a tragic car accident and a 2 week struggle in the ICU. Theresa is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Christopher Ellis; children, Dewayne, Adam (Kaela) and Nathan (Heather); grandchildren, Aiden and Alaina; brother, William Miller; Mother, Mary Miller; Mother-in-law, Barbara Ellis and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her Father, Grover Miller and Father-in-Law, Robert Ellis. Theresa was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt and friend. She was family oriented and also a dedicated housekeeper, bookkeeper, technician and so much more. She was a devoted friend who would do anything to help while expecting nothing in return. She supported Chris in every life endeavor from helping with the autobody business to Chris’ music career and everything in between. Although she may have been small she was strong. She was a stagehand that would help set up and tear down. Took hundreds of photos and videos of the gigs and rehearsals, not to mention making sure everyone always had a drink. No band should be without someone like Theresa. Her children and grand babies were the light of her life. She would always show them off with pictures and the story behind them. Theresa was employed by National Inventers Hall of Fame as a production line lead. Her personality, mentoring, dedication, and hard work will be hard to replace. She will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of working, growing, and learning by her side. The family would like to thank the staff at the Justin T. Rogers Care Center for their loving and compassionate care during this unimaginable time. It is with deep sadness that we honor the life of Theresa. A “Celebration of a Life” will be held Sunday, September 28th, 2025 at The Gathering Place, 12555 Benner Rd., Rittman, OH 44270. From 4:00 -10:00 pm where family and friends can share their memories of Theresa. There will be refreshments and also pizza, chicken and Jojo’s. Those who wish can bring a covered dish.
