Thomas "Tom" L. Gainer

Thomas “Tom” L. Gainer, 73, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025. He was born on June 2, 1952 in Glenville, West Virginia to the late Frank and Della Gainer. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Tom was proud to support the schools as a bus driver and crossing guard. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and enjoyed attending all of their soccer, baseball and basketball games. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen. Tom is survived by his children, Valerie Marie (Justin) Miller, Jessica Gainer (Richard Baum) and Thomas (Erika) Gainer; grandchildren, Ava, Taylor, Mason, Zachary, Jase, Jaxon, Jude and Maria; brothers, Robert (Beulah), William (Linda), James and John Gainer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Following Tom’s wishes there will be no services. Cremation will take place.
