Timothy "Tim" R. Schuppenhauer

Timothy “Tim” R. Schuppenhauer, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 21, 2024.Tim was born in Spokane, Washington on July 3, 1957 and grew up in Kirkland, Washington. He had been a resident of Norton for 20 years.Tim retired from Kent State University Book Store after 20 years of service and was a member of Medina Church of the Nazarene. Tim was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by his father, Harry Schuppenhauer. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Joby; mother, Patricia Schuppenhauer; daughter, Holly (Randy) Smith and stepsons, Ben and Aaron Smith; grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Mackenzie Smith, Alaina McNeill, A.J. Smith and Cole McClure; brothers, Dale (Heidi) Schuppenhauer and Peter (Michael Reading) Schuppenhauer; niece, Frances ( Quinn) Schuppenhauer; nephew, Thomas Schuppenhauer; along with other relatives and friends. Tim’s funeral service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Medina Church of the Nazarene, 6901 Wooster Pike, Medina, Ohio 44256 with Pastor Pete Ryder officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. till time of Tim’s service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hydroplane Museum in Kent, Washington at https://thunderboats.maestroweb.com 

The family would like to invite everyone to the Norton Community Center, 4060 Columbia Woods Drive, Norton, Ohio 44203 after the service for a time to continue celebrating the life of Tim.  In honoring him please feel free to wear casual golf themed attire, just dress casually.
