Velma M. Sisson

Velma M. Sisson, 97, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024. She was a life resident of Coventry. Velma enjoyed square dancing, traveling, golfing, bowling and spending the winters in Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William. Velma is survived by her son, David (Valerie); daughter, Janet (Robert) Stevens and Patricia (David) Dort; grandchildren, David W. Sisson, Kimberly Sisson, Stephanie (Todd) Haynes, Danielle (Andy) Shriner, Landon Haag, Shannon Dort (Christian Hull) and Dana (Craig) Beatty; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle and Olivia Haynes, Frank and John Sisson, Mason Shriner and Harper Beatty; along with other relatives and friends. Velma’s family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. She will be laid to rest at a later date with her husband, William at Greenlawn Memorial Park
