Vera D. (Weideman) Peterson

Vera D. Peterson, 87, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. She was a resident of Barberton for 58 years. Preceded in death by her son, Paul; sister, Elsie Parkhill and brothers, Ruben and Edward Weideman. Vera is survived by daughters, Brenda White, Christine Varga, Jennifer Geig and Julia (Adam) Seib and son, Greg (Durenda) Peterson; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. Vera’s funeral service will be held Friday, July 21, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, July 20th from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E, Uniontown, Ohio 44685 or the Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org
