Virginia G. Ward

Virginia G. Ward, 94, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. She was a life resident of the Akron/Barberton area. Virginia had been employed by Barberton Citizens Hospital as an LPN. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur and great-grandson, Christian Thacker; survived by her daughter, Nancy (Gary) Thacker; grandson, Chris (Tammy) Thacker; sisters, Mildred Crisp and Mary Rosier; brother, Paul (Edith) Cutting; along with numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Virginia’s funeral service will be held Monday, September 13th at 2 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Rev. Rod Grabski officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service.
