Wade R. Lucas

Wade R. Lucas, 76, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. He was a life resident of Norton/Barberton and a graduate of Norton High School, Class of 1964. Wade was a member of Stark County Stamp Club and O.G.C.A. A talented artist and photographer, he was known for his sharp sense of wit, quick sense of humor, love of history, and friendliness. He will be missed by his family, friends and classmates. A long-time member of the WW2 British 6th Airborne reenactment group, he has been called to his final muster. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Binnie and parents, Harvey and Ruth Lucas. Wade is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Josh (Cheryl) Lucas and Jessica Lucas; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brothers, Bruce (Krista) Lucas and Karl (Terri) Lucas; along with other relatives and friends. Wade’s family will receive friends and family on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
