William "Bill" Donnet

William “Bill” Donnet, 88, passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 31, 2025. Bill graduated from North Royalton High School, Class of 1954 and was a longtime resident of Stow, OH. Bill was a member of Operating Engineers Union Local #18 and retired from Limestone Sales in Copley, OH. He was a member of the Whizzer Motor Bike Club and was an avid NASCAR fan. Bill was a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Joyce Donnet; sister, Elizabeth; and his wife of 56 years, Marlene (nee Perzy) Donnet. Bill is survived by his son, Fabian (Connie) Donnet; daughter, Shelley (Dale) Mowdy; sister, Margaret Dorner; lifelong friend Jim Shoaff, and was deeply loved by many other relatives and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to the amazing staff at The Inn at CoalRidge, who provided such wonderful care and a loving home for the past two years. Also, a heartfelt appreciation to Advantage Hospice Company for their kindness and compassion. Bill’s funeral service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 3 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203 with Deacon Dan Galla and Pastor Kenny Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of his service. A private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Bill's memory to Advantage Hospice Company, 4141 Fulton Drive, N.W., Canton, Ohio 44718 or to a charity of your choosing.
