Obituary
William “Bill” F. Shoemaker, 77, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was born on September 10, 1943 in Huntington, W. Virginia and was a life resident of the Akron area. Bill went to college at Marshall University, he was a United States Air Force veteran and retired from Macy’s as a buyer. Preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (nee Hood); survived by his son, Scott; grandson, Kai; other relatives and friends. Bill’s funeral service will be held Sunday, September 12th at 4 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Rev. Rod Grabski officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service. Due to current circumstances masked are required and social distancing should be observed.
