Zachary James Fornash

Zachary James Fornash, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. He was born in Akron on July 18, 1999 and was a resident of Canton. Zachary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Fornash and aunt, Carletta Hornsby. He is survived by wife, Alexus; children, Avah, Elijah “Bub” and Layla “Gracie” Fornash; parents, James Fornash and Cassandra White; sibings, Carlee (Paul) Wellman, Tristan Fornash, Caleb Fornash and Bella Fornash; nephews, Hudson Fornash and Colt Wellman; maternal grandparents, Kevin and Shelia Harsh; uncles, Edward Fornash, John Wood, Joshua Harsh and Ryan Harsh; along with many other family members and friends. Zachary wanted to be known as a good father.  He was the golden heart child and loved to make people laugh. In honor of Zachary the family requests those attending to dress in red and gold and dress casually. Zachary’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. Dinner preceding after, at Orioles, 2166 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44314. Please include covered dish appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
